  • Exhibits must be penned by 10.00am
  • Birds showing signs of disease or infestation of pests will be
  • Closing date of entries Wednesday 23rd May 2018, NB: No Late Entries
  • Its very important to have entries submitted by this date in order to secure a cage on the day .
  • Judging will commence at 11. 00 am sharp (1.00pmChampionship)
  • Judges decision final in all
  • Prize money paid out after 4pm when exhibits can then be
  • 1st €15, 2nd €8, 3rd€6
  • Rosettes to all prize
  • Trophy to Champion and Reserve

The Irish Shows Association & Swinford Show Society present: The All Ireland Male Bantam Chicken Championship Final & The All Ireland Female Bantam Chicken Championship

Final Prize Fund: €355 in each Final Rules & Conditions

  1. The competition is open to all breeds of True i. e. Belgian, Dutch, Japanese, Pekin, Rosecomb orSeabright
  2. Four birds from each qualifying show will be eligible to compete in the final
  3. Individual competitors may qualify no more than two birds for each final
  4. Chickens qualifying for entry in the final may not be entered in any other classes at Swinford Show
  5. The chickens must be penned in the cages provided at the show grounds by 10.30am
  1. Final to be judged at 1pm These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISARules.

Entry fee: To qualifying Show €3 Final €6 Final: Swinford Sunday 26th August 2018.

Class 147 Qualifier for the Monivea Show All Ireland Champion and Reserve Champion automatically qualify for Monivea All Ireland Poultry Show, details will be given on the day. Details from Niall Murphy 086 3411501/091 849566 strictly after 6pm

Entries can be entered using the entry form available by clicking the button below and posting this and a postal order made out to Athenry Agricultural Show for the appropriate entry fee.
